Chameleon Games respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its visitors to do the same. In accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at copyright.gov, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

1. Important Note About Our Site

Chameleon Games is an unofficial game aggregator. We do not host, upload, or distribute game files ourselves. Games are loaded via official iframe embeds from third-party providers (e.g. CrazyGames). The games remain the property of their respective developers.

If you are a copyright holder and you’d like a game removed from the Site, we will typically oblige — even if a strict DMCA notice isn’t technically required. The fastest path is emailing us with the game URL.

2. Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on the Site, please notify our copyright agent. For your complaint to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following information:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, with information sufficient to permit us to locate the material (URL is ideal).
4. Contact information — address, telephone number, email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe content removed under a DMCA notice was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. Under the DMCA, the counter-notification must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the material removed and its location before removal
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to local court jurisdiction

4. Repeat Infringers

We do not host user-uploaded content, so the standard “repeat infringer” policy is largely moot for our use case. However, we reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any third-party content at our discretion.

5. Misrepresentations

Be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
