This Privacy Policy explains what information Chameleon Games (the “Site”) collects from you when you visit chameleon-games.fun, how we use it, and what we don’t do with it. We try to keep this readable — no legal jargon where plain English works.

1. TL;DR

• We do not require an account, email, or login.
• We do not sell your personal data. We don’t have a “your data” to sell.
• We use a few anonymous analytics cookies to count page views (optional).
• Third-party embedded games may set their own cookies (see below).

2. Information We Collect

a) Information you give us

None. You can play every game, browse every category, and use every feature without telling us anything about yourself. There is no registration, no newsletter signup, no comments section.

b) Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers (and our analytics provider) may automatically log:

• IP address (truncated/anonymized by our analytics provider)
• Browser type and version
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Operating system
• Referrer (the previous page you came from)
• Pages visited on the Site
• Approximate country/city (derived from IP, not precise)

This is standard web server logging. We use it only in aggregate to understand which pages are popular and where to invest engineering time.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. You can block all cookies in your browser settings and the Site will still work.

• Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics 4 or Plausible) — anonymous, used to count unique visitors and page views. No personally identifiable info.
• Preference cookies (optional) — if we add settings like theme or language, they may be stored in a cookie.
• Third-party cookies — embedded games (currently provided via CrazyGames) may set their own cookies for game progress and ads. We do not control those — see their policies.

4. Embedded Third-Party Games

Games on Chameleon Games are loaded via iframe embeds from third-party providers (CrazyGames is our primary embed source at launch). When you click “play”, your browser loads the game from that provider, and that provider may:

• Set its own cookies
• Show its own ads inside the game
• Collect its own analytics

We have no control over those cookies or practices. To understand them, please review the privacy policies of the relevant provider (currently CrazyGames’ Privacy Policy).

5. Children’s Privacy

The Site is suitable for general audiences, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA-compliant) or under 16 (GDPR-compliant). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we’ll delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

• Request a copy of any data we hold about you (we hold almost none)
• Request deletion of any data we hold
• Object to processing
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7. Data Retention

Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for debugging, then deleted. Aggregated analytics (e.g. “page X had N visitors today”) may be retained indefinitely as it contains no personal information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll bump the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes (e.g. adding data collection we don’t currently do), we’ll make the notice more visible.
